Loads of progress!
Hi everyone, long time no see.
We've made loads of progress in our game. planks can now be joined together and interact accordingly with each adjacent plank. You can hide or show de grid using the H button and reset the scene using R.
We've added a few UI elements to facilitate building, however these are still a work in progress. On the dropdown menu of building materials, planks are 100% functional and wheels are our next step in development. You'll quickly notice that while they are created, it behaves extremely weird, but we're fairly sure it's nothing too complicated, should be fixed in the next release.
The wheel element in the menu also foreshadows something big, our objective is to eventually do without the base structure, as we feel it removes some of the freedoms in design and it also creates a series of problems involving the interaction of planks and the base in the construction phase (without going into detail, as they are both created in very different ways, it's better to have them all follow the same game logic).
As to one of our main hurdles to cross, we need to be able to store the information gathered in the construction phase, so we're arranging loads of stuff on the backpanel to allow an easy manipulation of these resources.
In the meantime, enjoy playing around with it for now, stay tuned for more!
